The Overview

Shemara was originally launched in 1938 by the British shipyard, Thornycroft & Company. Since then, this vessel has had a life of habit, with only three individual owners from new. From the mid twentieth century, the vessel spent a consderable amount of time in the east coast of United Kingdom, where it lay as lunch spot for its industrialist owner, until one day she was bought, after four years of negotiation from a gentleman keen to bring this vessel back to its former glory, and so she was towed to her new home on the south coast of the United Kingdom, where Shemara Refit LLP had been formed to give one of the most comprehensive rebuilds of a yacht that has been seen to date. Post refit, she has become one of the most stunning classic yachts on the water today, cruising the Mediterranean as a floating family home, she creates a charming home from home for anyone who steps on board.
